This project is a government unit project located in Chengdu, China. In terms of furniture selection, solid wood furniture is the main choice, often using dark colors. The main color used in this project is walnut wood, ensuring a sense of unity and order. The furniture design mainly adopts traditional Chinese furniture styles, presenting a stable and textured overall, in line with the tone of government units.
In the reading space, the smooth curves and warm touch of the reading chairs; The simple lines of the reading table and the bold and firm edges of the folded lines Placed in a white space, the simplicity of Song style furniture is still loved by many designers today, echoing the classic saying in the design industry that ‘simplicity never goes out of style’.
In the conference space, one type is the conventional conference space, which often uses conference tables commonly used by government units, with walnut colored furniture paired with black leather soft bags, emphasizing the majesty and solemnity of the government. Another type is the auditorium suitable for large and medium-sized conferences, which uses foldable auditorium chairs in this space. Red is a classic color scheme of Chinese style. The red auditorium chair seat bag is paired with a walnut colored bottom seat board, creating a warm and deep color that is steady and ceremonial. Column by column, row by row, set against the warm yellow space around, the visual focus is clear at a glance, creating a sense of ceremony for the meeting.
In addition to the aforementioned spaces, this is also an elderly friendly space that enriches the retirement life of the elderly. According to the client’s arrangement, various functional spaces such as calligraphy room, chess room, and information classroom have also been set up here. Following the principle of consistency, the design and layout of furniture have different changes according to different spaces and needs, with the aim of allowing the elderly to find a suitable elderly lifestyle, entertainment mentality, and healthy body.
This project includes not only reading, meeting, and various entertainment spaces, but also areas for reception, dining, and reception. It is a complete set of government office furniture with various functions.
